12×12 Granite Tile set on mud float work
Mud (Cement sand and lime) has been used to prep counter tops for ages. The practice is still in use here at Hamilton Tile and Stone. The benefit is the strength and durability of the mud, and also the ease of correcting out of level and uneven surfaces.
